Question for Pinker fans Apr 2nd 2012, 15:58 First two posts copied from "Whatcha Reading?" in Media... I've decided that after I'm done with the current stack (with or without skipping a couple I picked up "just because"....), I'm going to read through Steven Pinker: The Language Instinct How the Mind Works Words and Rules The Blank Slate The Stuff of Thought The Better Angels of our Nature I have The Stuff of Thought, (I only got partway through it), and have discovered that I can get the others through my rinky-dink local library! Now, the question is, should I read them in any particular order - I listed them as they were written - or are they fairly stand-alone and can be read in any order?
